The Village Plan has already implemented a number of improvements to the village. For full details, download the PDF report below. Progress made includes... - Improved lake path and access across grass verges. Increased dog & litter bins.
- Village plan volunteers working on the following:
- Wildlife trails.
- Information on birds from RSPB representative.
- Proposals for improved wildlife conservation.
- Improved facilities for Parishoners
- Second volunteer �Tanyard clear up� including help from the children of Millbrook School planting bulbs.
- More litter & dog bins provided around the lake with a special children�s bin added to the play park, to encourage children not to drop litter.
- Cllr Bruce Selkirk volunteered to help forge stronger links between Millbrook Parish Council and Millbrook/Torpoint Schools. Arranged bulb planting session in the Tanyard with Millbrook School.
- Cllr. Gary Owens researching heritage to provide information for a proposed heritage trail.
- Millbrook Parish Council purchase and repair of the Lime Kiln & Stone Quay.
- Millbrook Parish Council agreed to set aside funding to cover salary of Computer Centre manager for three months in case funding ends before further funding bids agreed.
