In addition to the regular monthly meetings of the full council, a number of issues are dealt with by committees that meet as necessary.  The Chairman and Vice Chairman of the council are automatically members of each committee.

Planning

The Planning Committee considers planning applications forwarded by Cornwall Council and makes recommendations to the Planning Authority, which the authority is obliged to consider when making its decision. The committee usually meets on the fourth Tuesday of the month. Members are:

Publicity and Communications

This committee deals with noticeboards, newsletters and the website, with meetings as required. Members are:

Miss S Lewis, Mrs N Roberts, Mr R Winsor, Mr H Wood.

Finance

Responsible for matters relating to the precept and maintaining proper financial records and procedures. Members are:

Mrs F Brennan, Miss S Lewis, Mr R Meeson, Mrs N Roberts, Mr H Wood.

Computer Centre

Responsible for matters to do with the financing and operation of the Computer Centre. Members are:

Mrs F Brennan, Mrs A Creese, Miss S Lewis, Mr H Wood.

Groundworks

Responsible for matters related to the repair, maintenance and improvement of Council property. Members are:

Mr R Meeson, Mr S Creese.
